We’re not surprised that the secret is finally out about Weddington. Locals have long recognized there’s a lot to love about our little oasis. 

While many towns maintain that small town feel, Weddington is unlike most small towns. Located just over the Union Co line, there really is only one shopping center, otherwise the town is dotted with neighborhoods and farmland. Most of the homes sit on 1-acre lots or more which provided that open space feeling many who live outside of Charlotte are looking for. Weddington encompasses approximately 17 square miles. While the town is small, the schools are made up of residents for the Union Co. side of Matthews, part of Waxhaw and part of Wesley Chapel and are some of North Carolina's Top 15 schools.
