This lovely town is one where you can see glimpses of the past are celebrated and highlighted. Home to some enchanting historic homes and buildings like the Stowe Manor, Belmont Abbey College and Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.  The Downtown Belmont Historic District is a stretch filled with little shops, restaurants and local favorites.

Throughout the year, you can find all kinds of festivals and activities going on in the heart of town. The community is very active and lively here.

If you are a fan of the great outdoors, Belmont sits along the banks of the Catawba River and offers a variety of recreational activities, including those found at the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
